One of the most common “Green” upgrades you can do for your home is to add new windows or window films. Windows are extremely energy efficient if you get the right kind. In addition, they will enhance the beauty of your home. There are many large and small window manufactures in the United States. GingerMan has chosen to go with one of the very best. We are proud to offer Milgard windows to the Central Texas area. For a free consultation and quote, please call or email us directly.
Are you considering having a small or large remodeling project done in the next 6 months? Today, with the market, down and home sells in the proverbial toilet…..many people are electing to fix up their current residence as opposed to buying new. That being said, the most common areas that home owners are spending their time and money are Kitchen and Bathroom Remodels and Outdoor Kitchens and Patios.
Remodels are very tricky as they are very involved. Most Bathroom and Kitchen remodels don’t just include tear out and re-framing/slapping in some cabinets and counter tops and calling it a day, but more often than not, extremely involved, including electrical and plumbing work which requires a professional with a license. Furthermore, you should ask the company you are thinking about working with if they also have an interior designer and conceptual artist on staff.
We have found that in order to make sure you are getting exactly what you want; having a picture beforehand will really help. I don’t just mean a picture of someone else’s bathroom, but a conceptual picture and diagram of what your project will look like after its completion.
At GingerMan, we go the extra mile to know that you will be satisfied with what we will deliver before we even get started. After all, this is your home we are talking about…..and I know how I feel about my home, therefore we treat your home as if it were our own from start to finish.

There is a growing trend to eat and live life “Organically”. What does that mean exactly? Well, there are many definitions. The Federal Government, Food & Drug Administration, Several Associations, and Small Private Farmers will all give you a little different definition. My take is this……
If you want to grow your own food, for your own consumption, not for sale, etc. then having a small backyard garden can provide a family with an abundance of dozens of different types of fruits and vegetables year round. Herbs, Peppers, Squash, Tomatoes, Fruits, etc. can very easily be grown, completely organically (that is without any unnatural pesticides or herbicides or free of chemicals) very easily.
You can grow all the food you need in a space of about 8′ X 16′. You can use natural wood, such as Cedar to frame out the Garden area. Removing all the grass and vegetation inside the box, add a makeshift sprinkler system, organic soil, a mechanical timer, and all the types of veggies you enjoy and wala! You have your very own backyard garden.
GingerMan installs a complete Garden equipped with above ground temporary sprinkler systems, timer, select planted heirloom seed varietals and training on how to take care of your garden starting at $1495.00
If you want to enjoy fresh organic foods this year with minimal expense (in actuality, this pays for itself, 4 or 5 fold when compared to the high price of organic produce) then call GingerMan and get this started today!

Cleaning Tips For You Rock Patio Owners!
Every year, my patio gets better looking. Why you might ask….? Well, believe it or not, there are some cleaning and maintenance tips that even rocks need to have a long healthy and good looking lifespan
Follow these tips every spring to help your rock patio continue to look great for those parties and bar-b-ques:
- Rough cut rock will continue to weather and chip off surface pieces throughout the year. Usually this is due to traffic, weather, how many freezes you had the previous winter, etc. After the last spring, power wash your rock patio.
- Then take a mild bleach and water solution and using a large heavy duty floor broom, brush aggressively the bleach and water solution all over the entire patio, let this sit for about 15 minutes.
- Next re-power wash the patio.
- For further protection, we recommend a water based sealer. Water based rock sealers are easier to work with, usually more environmentally friendly and will not discolor the rocks from their natural color.
